Refurbished Blu-Ray Disc Player for $89.99 Shipped

Amazon Reviews don't make it sound so appealing, unless you pay the extra $30 to get the 3 year replacement plan, but still might not be worth the headaches.

Came up $95.39 w/ tax and free shipping for me. I already have this unit in my basement and I like it. I was shopping for a new player for my new HDTV that would take an ethernet for updates but since I already have to burn discs for updates for the one I have this is a no brainer...
I've had my current one since the begining of the technology and have had zero problems with it so I'm not overly concerned, and I have no problem with re-furbs...buy them all the time.

I'm fairly sure that this will come shipped with the latest firmware (from June of 09). If not, you can update yourself by burining a CD-R.

With the latest firmware, most problems that were reported from older reviews should be eradicated. Updated firmware is critical for blu-ray players from all brands and models.
