Nice system, coould be very useful with an install of Windows Server 2008, Windows Hyper-V Server 2008, or maybe even one of the other VM hypervisors. This box supports up to 16 Gigs of RAM (4x 4 Gig DIMMs DDR2), and with a complement of Vista 64 drivers for the on-board hardware, the installation of Windows Server 2008 is easy.

For those not familiar, the Windows Hyper-V Server is a command line-based FREE OS from Microsoft that allows you to instal VMs on top of it (each VM needs an OS license).

Windows Server 2008 Trialware is available that will last months (120+ days, IIRC), or you can experiment with the R2 of Server 2008 until March of next year for free.

Or, use the included Vista OS to host Virtual PC, Virtual Server 2005, VirtualBox, or other virtual machine software.
