Out of stock

Darn! They are already out of stock. It would be a great deal if they were still available.:(

DANGIT. I need some of those too!!!! I just got my new mp3 player and my earbuds are too big. :(

Yeah.. $#@$^.. I wanted to order one for my sis.

BTW. do repaired items constitute under Refurbished?
Or is it only items that are working fine but returned by users?

These earbuds suck, go read the reviews on amazon on their funtopia earbuds, many people say the rubber on the wires disintegrate after 3 months, right after its 3 month warrenty ends. How convenient.

Thats may be true, but I can vouch that mine lasted 2 yrs and 3 months under intensive use. The wires can get yellowy and get coiled up real easily.but mine never frayed.

But i do hear a lot of friends complaining. Then again they're not high end IEM like shure's or etymotic's

Hmm i had mine for over 3 years. no problems with the ear buds wearing out. I have friends with this too. No complaints there either.

However the ones we bought were directly from Japan, we got it before they started selling the white ones for ipod in the US market.

Maybe its different quality, i dunno.

will this help me achieve total defness by the year 2010 :/

I have these same earbuds and they have lasted me about 6 months under harsh use and they're still kicking! Get them if you can, but refurbished... I would think that the quality would be lower...

Try it again - I just ordered a pair.

They must have just got some more in. My order went through.

I bought mine back in 1999 from Japan, the original model, MDR-EX70. I used it initially for my walkman and then sony's net walkman, and now ipod shuffle. Didn't realize it would be such a hit for ipod xD

Anyhow, they are durable. After all these years, they still sound superb to my normal ears. It shows wears, but hasn't fallen apart at all.

If you're thinking about in ear headphones, I might suggest the Sennheiser CX 300. Yes, quite a bit more expensive at $55 shipped (new), but they're so far beyond any other headphone I've ever used. They've gotten rave reviews pretty much everywhere.

A couple reviews mention "these suk, absolutly no bass"... that's because the reviewer didn't read the instructions to properly fit the IEMs into your ears the correct way. They don't just "sit" on your ears like earbuds, they make a seal.

Here's a good review http://spaces.msn.com/sundaypainter/blog/PersonalSpace.aspx
