regarding the bausch and lamb....is it something to be worried about?

I've been giving my sister samples of the bottle since I've seen the free thread sample last year, but I just heard about that news last week regarding the fungus people have been getting and it freaked me out that I may have jacked up my sister's eyes for life...is there anything that can be done about it?

Read through this, alot of information about this to be found. It sounds like it is not certain that this product is causing the problems, but it is being pulled until it is know for certain.

you & your sister can have your eyes checked by an ophthalmologist too

Just search the net for some nasty pictures of eye diseases and show them to her, she'll come around. Either that or you'll get sweet parking spots when she goes blind ;) so it's a win-win really

hey now, I had to get to the farmers market for my AARP meeting...

Okay, folks, get some facts clear.
First, the fungus problem is only associated with B&L's NEW formulation of Renu "multipurpose" solution with stuff they call "moistureloc." So if you're using the old formulation of Renu without moistureloc, the fungus stuff has nothing to do with you.
Second, the voucher for free saline solution is not their attempt to foist more moistureloc on people, but rather a way to get replacement product to people who have bottles of renu with moistureloc that they're using.

So go ahead and be alarmed, because this fungus thing looks pretty nasty, albeit rare. But please don't spread false information or rumors.

thanks for the good information monkfish.. I was going to mention the same thing about the renu moisturloc solution..

and.. what is your avatar exactly? should i not ask?
