I don't see where you get the $10 gc for making a purchase. I went all the way to entering my cc details and nothing. Any ideas?

After you make the purchase is the only time you will see it.

woo hoo

very nice deal, Ive purchased several of these certificates in the past using codes from Spoofee members. Thanks !! :teeth:

Does that mean you get an additional $10 GC with EVERY certificate you purchase? Or only with every transaction?

many restuarants are not even in business.

also.. let me tell u . .I have used several of these... I have seen some of the mom and pop owners. frowning when seeing the certificates. i hope u r aware that they dont make anything out of the 25$. but on the additional conditions.. so I feel these have an added liability..

That's understandable, but don't they have the option of not participating in Restaurant.com if it's not beneficial to them? Also, I have found a few excellent restaurants I would not have tried if I didn't find it on Restaurant.com so I think it's good marketing if the restaurant is indeed worth going to.

When a place stops using Restaurant.com they send you an email letting you pick another place. I use these every month, i love them.
It's called marketing places I would have never visited before have a chance to win us over as new regular customers, if you're eating at a place that frowns then they need more then marketing help to stay in business.

sad to say I went to use one of my certificates today ate my meal and then when I went to pay they tell me they dont participate anymore, kinda made me mad cuz the person was like "this must be old" and I showed him where Id just bought it (date was printed on page) so I had to come up with the money then, I told him they should call and have their business taken off of the list then becuase they were still showing up on it :(
I recommend calling the restaurant before you go to make sure

1) they are still in business and
2) still accept the coupons

When going to a restaurant, always let them know BEFORE you sit down & order, that you have the gift certificate. I've used about a dozen of these already & they have always accepted it. They benefit when you love the food/atmosphere & inform friends to come back. I've tried a few restaurants I normally wouldn't have tried & they were really delicious & I would definitely go back w/o the gift certificate next time. We all benefit from this.

yes its always best to do it BEFORE, but one would think it should be good if its up on the website for sale a day before you go, been trying to get through the customer support all day for restaurants.com and nobody will ever answer

It's their choice to participate. I have found several good restaurants through this site and you also have to remember the business owners can limit how many are sold which is why some are sold out.

finally got in touch with someone today, they apologized and upgraded my $10 certificate to a $25 certificate, woo hoo
