Sorry for the delay...crazy two days and traveling for work.
I wouldn't pay $500 for it, but I probably wouldn't pay $500 for any table.
I saw one review that mentions the balls may be too small as they sometimes get stuck between the "men." I found this to be true, but when I've played the most competitive games it rarely if ever dies, and if it does we restart it.
Other than that, the only negative I saw was there are some rubber edgers that go on the inside of the table against the walls to push the ball back towards the center. There are two small sections on either end that don't stick correctly. I plan on adding some double-sided tape or glue to keep them permanently in place.
Other than these two things, I'm a perfectionist and won't pay for junk. I'm a 28 year old male who loves sports, enjoys company, and like having a good time. This table satisfies everything I can anticipate needing for quite a while. I was not disappointed at all for the price, and I bought it when it was $150. At $99 I would highly recommend for youth groups, friends, or anyone else wanting to buy. If you're looking for something to add to your second library you may want something else, but for anyone else I can't see buying better for the price.
