hint...

Whenever an item is OOS/Backorder try to do the following:
- logout/start new browser session (so your Office Depot account will not be loaded)
If you can not get around their "automatic login" click here!
- search for the item you wanna buy
- you will be asked for ZIP CODE (enter one from any area/even out of state!)
- if item is OOS click "change zip" and search for it again
... till you find it!

The only inconvenience is that you have to type in your information when you ccheck out!

If OOS PM it with CircuitCity.

If its OOS just take a printout from OD and go to your local circuit city and get this router. CC has it for 59.99 with a 30 mir i guess. They will PM it and with MIR you make some money....

What do you need for CC to pricematch? Just a printout of the webpage saying that they are offering it for that much? Or do you actually have to order the item, and print out an invoice (and then cancel it later).

...lemme think... there's a CC on my way to work, and I get money back.......... or I buy it online and pay 8.xx plus shipping. HMMMMMM.....
 
A webpage print out will do. Some over enthusiastic CC worker may call OD to verify stock. So just make sure they have in stock.

No OD within the hour... I don't think they'll care. I'll go when it's real busy so they deal with me quickly.

Question about the rebate forms online

Just a general question about these rebates... When you print it out from the online picture, are they usually honored? In general does the online rebate forms work or should I head out to the local store and ask for one? Thanks in advance!!

If you go to an Office Depot store, they have it there for the same price. You dont need any price match or anything.
 
spoofeeuser - I have had no trouble with printed rebates. As long as you have the upc and reciept and all, it will work fine. :)

Wish I could, unfortunately, no OD within an hour's travel. Got a good deal anyway, the router, a Magnifier Task Lamp and a king pack of 'post its' for like $19 (The price I would've paid for the magnifier task lamp alone)
