Costco sells a similar can and it is awesome! I don't remeber paying that much, but it is worth it! It fits well under our counter and doesn't require as much space to open. It also keeps our two large dogs and nosy one year old out! That alone is priceless!

I can't believe the enormous success SimpleHuman has. And as prncssnish pointed out, yes they have it in Costco, where they started the business.

They're actually very close to where I work, and until now, didn't realize they've selling their products at such a premium price. Am impressed, albeit jealous tho.

$150 to $115 is a deal if that is something you are looking for ... if that was for the 150GB external hard drive (or whatever) you were looking to buy it would be a great deal for you. If I cared more about what my kitchen looked like or had a decent sized kitchen with granite counters and the like, I would consider this...
