SimpleTech 2GB USB Drive for $10.99 Shipped After Rebate

I got one of these a couple of months ago, it's supposed to be USB 2.0 but it's slower than any USB 1.1 flash drive that I have ever owned. Not worth the $10 unless you have a couple of hours to spare while it transfers 2GB onto the drive.
 
I agree with bigrick...

I have this same drive and the transfer speed were INCREDIBLY slow. Slower than any 1.1 device I have ever used.

It never failed or anything like that, so it still has a TON of reliable storage, just don't expect it to be fast.
 
You sure its not ReadyBoost compatible?

Yes, I'm sure. That's a different drive. The one Buy.com is selling is:

SimpleTech SimpleTech 2GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive - Designed by Pininfarina 2GB Incompatible

I have the 1GB Pininfarina model and it's SLOW! Vista also says it's Incompatible when it was tested.
