I bought it today and even the Mail In Rebate printed at the store register had the date discrepancy. I talked to the register clerk regarding it and he said that rebate should be valid, otherwise it would not print at the register.

Ordered online for store pickup (paying cash) presented 15% off coupon (which they had to force) The folks at the store read the fine print about what it couldn't be used for but decided that since it was such a flexible device it didn't fit in one catagory so i got benefit of doubt. After rebate will cost me 55.99 (had to pay tax in MA) :-D
