anyone buy anything from Woot!.com??? i just read the FAQ on the site, and the whole thing seems a bit... well... shady. This is the type of lingo you hear on hard-to-believe infomercials and stuff like that.

"Each item we sell is in stock and ready to ship that day. Our warehouse manager thinks we are insane." -Woot!

So, is there anyone with any first-hand experience?

I'll find out, I guess -- I ordered the speakers at 12:04 am, must have been the last of the batch.

It's an interesting concept -- Sell lots of one thing really cheap. They had the RoboSapien robot on the day before for $68.

Got 'em today 8/13 -- sealed Dell OEM package and they look great. 3 days for $5 shipping --not bad!
