These are supposedly hard to find.

Nintendo DS Lite Coral Pink for $129.82 shipped. These are going for $150+ on eBay and $200 on Amazon used section.

I got the pink one in November for $135 @ Amazon. I had no idea that this was a sought after item.
 
Ibought a $40 off $200 at Circuit City on ebay. Bought extra stuff, they prorate the coupon, so the ds comes to about $95.00 You can return the rest of the stuff.
 
I got one of these from going on Target.com

and then doing a search at your Local target (enter your zip) and then it comes up with all your local targets and tells if they have any.

Also when I went to costco they had a bunch of these available (before Christmas) except they were bundles (165) with I believe a case and New Super Mario Bros.) which even though is a bundle is a deal.
 
Yes it is retail. But it's in high demand and tight supply. That's why spoofee posted it. But since spoofee posted, I didn't expect it to last long.
 
I was lucky and got a white DS Lite from Overstock.com for only $94 after a coupon earlier this month. I should've ordered another one... but I wanted a black one that they didn't have in stock.

Most DS Lites are regular price of $129 and I haven't seen any other discounts on them. Pink and Black ones available at Costco via a bundle. There were tons at the local Best Buy a few weeks before Xmas.

DS Lites have been on the market for awhile. I don't know why the sudden demand...
 
I didn't know these were in such demand also. I just went to Best Buy today and they had some pink ones there, not in a bundle but at the regular retail price.
 
Yeah the DS Lites have been around since june (but they only had white then I believe) but I think with all the shortages of Wii and PS3 some parents decided to buy DS Lites for their kids as a cheaper alternative, and they have become popular. One girl from EB Games told me that the Pink is so hard to find because Nintendo has discontinued it, according to her they only made so many, but because the pink was not selling well they stopped making them and then they became a hot item at christmas and this is why they were in short supply when people wanted them. I don't know if that is true or not but it would make some sense.
