I would go for these if they were 4x. Still a great price, but no need to buy media that's not fast enough for my drive.

My Ritek's will last for now.

Who actually makes the discs? $20 is an OK price if they're high quality blanks, but if they're some generic crap from CMC Magnetics or something, they're not worth it...

Well look at the customer reviews. It gets a pretty good review. Some people complained aboutu a bad batch. If that happens then return them. If I needed disks I'd buy them. $20 is the best deal I've seen.
