Spoofee is really sluggish this morning. There weren't too many people on it when I checked. Server issue maybe?

Maybe the user is too slow? ;) ;) :spoofee:

Could be that too, big daddy. Maybe my mind is so far advanced from my body...

FYI I actually had a "senior Spoofee moment" a minute after I posted my reply, but it appeared to pass.

All seems to be good now. Spoofee is flying along for me.... It could of also been the internet link that was slow not spoofee's server.

It is moving much more quickly now. I wasn't having any problems with any other Web sites. Just one of those Internet hiccups I guess.

thats the sound of how fast its going... in written form.. :bigok:

I talked to Spoofee last night, he said he rebooted the server, so that's why it's much quicker right now. :D

The Magic 8 Ball always knows...

All day on the 20th I couldn't get spoofee to load at all.
I'm on the highest speed DSL available on Qwest but I was getting nothing from spoofee..fine on any other website I wanted to visit.
Thought It was just me, because board showed posts for that day...but who knows..just one of those net things, I guess.

Spoofee RSS Feeds Died at the same time and still Dead on my google homepage?

Yeah, occasionally the server needs a reboot or a kick from Spoofee. :) Hopefully it won't happen again.

i think today , right now is one of those ocasions

I'm thinking it's still a network issue. Right now it's working great with no slow downs...

I usually can't tell, but today I can. It seems markedly slower today. :(

I'm going to restart the server for now.

and I'm gonna have to contact webhost for suggestions on this. Sorry guys.

Just an update of what's going on. Servint.com has stated that they will "monitor" the site, but I'm not counting too much on it. In the next 1-2 days.. I am planning to optimize some code. I think I'm over doing something to cause this much pressure on the server.

Also Kage has suggested to install a mod-gzip module. If this code optimization has no effect.. I'll go ahead and install it for trial. Thanks and sorry guys.

Ok, after some discussion, skepticism, etc. it looks like Spoofee.com's going to be upgrading webhost service again, but this one should be the "upgrade" we will need to do for a while (geez, seems like I said the exact same thing earlier this year).

Our server has no issue during the day, but the morning traffic really makes the server sluggish. This should happen sometime today. Servint has informed me that it's a procedure that is done in 10 minutes, so most of us shouldn't be affected :)

Looks like it already happened, we'll see how the server does.
