Star Wars Episode III -- Hate it or Love it!

I said I didn't wanted to wait in long lines in the theaters this weekend to watch Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith; but I went along with the hype and waited in line with the rest of the hardcore fans.

The Yahoo critics and movie watchers both gave B+/A- ratings. Being a huge fan of the original Lucas series (Episode 4-6) and disliking both Episode I and II presequel due to lack of character and plot building, I would give Episode III a solid B for its special effects and tying the whole series together. :bigok:

Go to the theaters and watch it if you haven't, I think it's worth it.

i cant say im a big fan of 4-6 even though i grew up watching it.
3 was definititely the best of them all. lots of action and no long slow scenes
like the last one.

My wife and I saw it this afternoon. I thought this was the best out of the three new ones. I think they did a good job of tying everything together. Question, what was the point of the General Grevious hacking and coughing through out
his scene's?

Also, did anyone find the laugh of Darth Sidious utterly funny/irritating?

Gotta watch Episode 1 & 2 first for me . I'll most likely end up renting the Trilogy DVD set from a friend. That'll be the time.

Question, what was the point of the General Grevious hacking and coughing through out his scene's?

General Grievous is a half creature and half machine character, but not sure why dude was coughing and hacking throughout the movie. Maybe Lucas wanted to portray a weak and vulnerable Grievous so that Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi can kick his butt in the movie.

LoL... well i fell asleep during the middle of the movie... Beginning started out great. then it just became crap!

You would think that after Anakin/Vader hears about how he killed his love, he would've done more than just yelp "NOOOOOO!!!!"...

Because Vader lost the one he was suppose to save if her went to the dark side his mental state should've been further severed and would've displayed more EVIL character... but you dont see that in this movie... All you see is him being a dog to Sidius....

I am not satisfied. Lucas didnt really write this well.

LOL...that scene was indeed kinda funny. "Nooooo!!!" from Darth Vadar after the death of his wifey.

Anyone knows what Lucas has plans next? I heard rumors that he wanted to go back to his roots and do independent films again.

No Episode 7 and onward??? I think a good character to build on is Yoda...his life and how he become a Jedi Master.
