Symantec Norton 360 + One DVD + $30 Debit Card for $9.99 + Cost of DVD

Buy.com has the Symantec Norton 360 software for PC + any DVD for a good deal.

Pricegrabber Price : $51 ~ $104 Shipped

1. Make sure you have a previous version of Norton or Symantec or another company's antivirus, firewall, antispam, antispyware, utility, or backup software product. If you don't have one, you can buy one on ebay for cheap
2. Buy.com Price : $69.99 Shipped
3. Also click here and add any DVD of your choice to your cart from Buy.com
4. Rebate Price : -$40.00 ( Exp : 12/22/07 )
5. Competitive Rebate : -$20.00 ( Exp : 12/31/07 )
6. $30 Master Debit Card Rebate Form ( Exp : 01/31/08 )
Final Price : $9.99 Shipped After Rebate + Cost of DVD + $30 Master Debit Card

Find a cheap DVD (I found one for $5) and you can net about $15 on this deal $70 (Norton 360) + $5 (DVD) - $60 Rebates - $30 Debit card = -$15. Or, if you prefer, get a DVD you really like for free or almost free. Their new releases are around $20 (not a great price) and HD and Blu-Ray are about $25. That $30 MasterCard really makes the deal.

Not correct

The $30 Mastercard is no good. It requires you to send in original UPC and so does the $40 rebate. You can't do both. Still a good deal, but not as good.

Two rebates need original UPC

Both the $40 rebate and the DVD combo rebate require the original UPC bar code. Don't think this will work.

You're right I should have known better than to trust the Spoofster. I usually read all the rebate forms before I cosider a multi-rebate deal. Still, Buy.com lists all 3 rebates in your cart. Very misleading. I did however get $60 off today for using The Revolution Card by splitting my purchases into 3 separate orders. It was easy to apply for and I was approved amost instantly. The offer is $20 off $50 orders up to 3 times, before 12/31. It has no annual fee and the interest varies according to your creditworthyness from 7.99% to 29.50% (aargh). There's nothing that says you can't cancel the account after you get the $60 credit (and pay your bill).
Another thing is, you only get free shipping on the DVD if you're purchasing over $25 in the music and video store. The Norton doesn't count.

I sent them an email regarding the required proof of purchase needing 'original' UPCs'......their response....
Thank you for contacting Buy.com regarding order # xxxxxxxxxxx. We
apologize for the confusion regarding these rebates. Please note that
the $20 rebate requires the "Proof of Purchase" label that is located
on
the top inside flap of the box. The other two rebates for $40 and $30
require the UPC code that is located at the bottom outside of the box.
We are currently working with Norton on this matter. We suggest that
you submit $40 rebate with the original UPC code and submit a copy of it
for the $30 rebate. Please keep copies of all submitted materials for
your records. Should you experience any trouble receiving your $30
rebate, please contact me directly at xxxxxxx@buy dot com so that I may
directly assist you.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

So, did anyone else have a problem with the $30 rebate?? I received the $40 and $20 but the $30 rebate was denied! And Buy.com acts like they have no idea about it!
