In the interview with Oprah a couple weeks back, James Cameron said straight out that there will be an Avatar sequel~I imagine he is the driver's seat on this one as it has made such an obscene amount of money!!:yesnod:

The way they ended the movie - they definitely left it for a supereasy transition to the sequel, and it's a very predictable one, but I'm sureit would be awesome nonetheless. :yesnod:
