i got braces!
now thats not all
one of the wires is stiking out and is really painful(i have this big irritation on my cheek) and the other wire came loose
any suggestions
oh and theyre red so they match my cell phone

Why not use your cell phone, and, call the dentist/orthodontist and get in for a check up before you end up with huge ulcers in your mouth?!?!?! Those wires are meant to hold the alignment of your teeth that the Dentist is shooting for. If one breaks, or is out of alignment, the teeth will settle into the wrong position. For relief until you can get into the office, try some tylenol as the package directs if you are not allergic to it, and an " oral numbing gel" that you can find at the pharmacy. There are two favorite brands out there, talk to the Pharmacist. No doubt your dentist gave you a "take home sheet" for pain control? Have a look at that as well for suggestions. Braces are an expensive adventure, protect your investment, and, get seen ASAP!!!!!!!! :wave:

Get to a dentist now! If you get an ulcer in your mouth and it can't heal, you might get a real bad infection. It happend to me when my wisdom tooth came in sideways and rubbed the inside of my cheek raw. Then the dentist couldn't pull the tooth until the infection was gone.
