Keep in mind Tesla always tries to get people to buy at the end of the year or quarter. Last year, my neighbor was called by Tesla stating if he doesn't take delivery now, he'll be pushed back to the back of the queue and may not get a Tesla for another 3 months. He pulled the trigger. Then they dropped the price on the Model Y. Again and again and again and he also missed out on the $7500 credit. Just saying.

I have bought Model 3 a week back, it's a horrible process and attitude of the Fayetteville service center where I took the delivery, no validation checklist process, and arrogant replies. majority of replies are LIE's LIE's, my VIN# car was at the location for quite some time and they said it was delivered one day before my delivery. This particular was not kept clean or washed before bringing to delivery. After booking and assigning ViN# I had a conversation over the phone with the Sales rep who said the vehicle is here. my delivery was 10 days after that to arrange finance from my side. On the actual delivery day, the sales rep didn't show up. They don't have any feelings and take for granted these people booked and will take delivery.

Tesla is going to have to make some pricing changes or something on Jan 1st, because now that the Model 3 RWD & LR won't qualify for any Fed EV rebates, things are going to be very weird pricing wise:

• Model Y RWD: $36,490 (incl $7.5k EV rebate)
• Model 3 RWD: $38,990 (not eligible for EV rebate)
• Model Y LR: $41,490 (incl $7.5k EV rebate)
• Model 3 Performance: $43,490 (incl $7.5k EV rebate)
• Model Y Performance: $44,990 (incl $7.5k EV rebate)
• Model 3 LR: $45,990 (not eligible for EV rebate)

Uh the pricing is exactly in line without the rebates of similarly category vehicles. In fact I'd say the rebates gave people trying an unproven manufacturer of vehicles filled with first in industry features for private vehicles.
