Well, The Bourne Ultimatum is a combo disc, so that one won't become totally useless...

Being a Bourne freek, this is a great option, however, there is gonig to be a fourth Bourne, Im going to wait for the 4 pack.

But if you want this in HD you have to buy this now. The 4th movie will only be on Blu-Ray :verysad:

The Bourne Identity came with my HD-DVD player (Toshiba A-30).

I bought all 3 from BestBuy then they were buy 2 get one free... & since I had $25 in Reward Zone certificartes, I paid $30 for them. LOL Oh well. :teeth:

Here's where HD DVD adopters have the advantage. I spent $100 on a player & got $100 for of DVDs for "free"... or you could say I got a free player.
Now all the HD DVDs will drop even FURTHER then BOGO deals & all I will have to do is buy a dual format player. All my current collection (+ super cheap deal HD DVDs I continue to buy with IDENTICAL 1080p video resolution) will play along with the Blu-ray discs (I will pay more money for :mmph: ). And I only paid a fraction of the price that the Blu-ray versions will then be selling for regular price. :proud:

Only one problem Cap... the new "release" of blu-ray is coming soon, version 2if you will. Considering no one will be making hd-dvd's anymore, the likelihood of anyone making a combination hd-dvd/blu-ray 2.0 player is slim to none. I doubt any of us will get away from having an hd-dvd player around if we want to watch our old hd-dvd's.

You mean they haven't perfected Blu-ray yet? They've only had 6 years! Tisk-tisk.

Considering that Toshiba sold an estimated 90,000 HD-A2 players the first week of November... there are a lot of players out there... & a lot of HD DVD adopters with discs- & LG knows it.

I have a fine HD-DVD player. So, I will also have to buy a blu-Ray when they get cheap enough. Besides, the upconverting on the HD-DVD player makes standard def look almost as good as HD anyway.

Agree!!! Plus if I want Blu-Ray I will just get a PS3 to replace my PS2 in the entertainment rack and have games and BR movies along with the HD-DVD player to play the cheep movies I will soon get pick of.
