The Last Samurai was a great movie!

That's really cool to hear, want to know why? My cousin, Marshall Herskovitz, co-produced and wrote it. :)

I haven't seen it. Maybe I actually would if I weren't snowed in. Maybe I'll try tomorrow. Glad to hear that everyone thinks that it's really good.

Yea, so far, I only heard some movie critics saying anything bad like "it's unreal." But the other civilians.. I have not heard a single bad comment yet. I'm craving to watch it again and may if I still feel this way next week. :D

this is the first time that i have heard people say that it was good. granted, many of the critics liked it, but i dont value their opinions.

everyone i talked to that has seen it didnt like it, but i havent talked to many people about it, becuase most of my friends (including me) thought that it just couldnt be good, mainly because it has tom cruise in it. and also because the story just didnt look good.

but if more people here say that it is good and worth watching, then maybe i will go see it.

Snowed in? That's no excuse. Go grab your shovel and snow shoes. What else do you have to do? :)

Kage_

Maybe I'll go see it tonight. I wonder what I'm doing tonight, *wonders*.

awesome movie

i saw it with all my asian friends and they were going crazy about bushido and samuri, etc. lol. i think it had a deeper meaning than the life of a samuri. it was brilliantly put together with an excellent story line. (although the white people always seem to survive... what a shame :D ). definitley up there with training day. its probably the best role for tom cruise that i've seen yet. with the long hair he is definitley reminiscent of a civil war hero.

The Last Samurai was Awesome

If you like Mel Gibson in Braveheart and its battle scenes, I think you'll like Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai. I thought it had a great story line and cast of characters even though most of the Japanese actors/actress are unknown to average American Joes.

I would recommend seeing it if you have not...see ya the movies.
