This probably won't go anywhere :( but its always interesting (to me :tongue: ) to read what's behind someone's name. For example:

Why is there a "_" after Kage?
Does penpen like pens so much that she had to type it twice?
etc. :o

Also I don't recall seeing it on the "About Us" page, but where did Spoofee get their name, how did it start etc.??? :confused: :spoofee:

I know why you have your name, but other members may not have read the thread a while back.

I got my name because I run on the fire department and ambulance. I know, morbid, but definitely my style.
 
Ok For me Dehawk was my gaming name , i am a huge gamer and after a while i was known more for Dehawk then my real name. But often all the email ids with dehawk was taken so Dehawk666 was born.

Its pretty unique from what i know

Btw big daddy whats your story? or is this too much of a family site for the answer ;)

the origin of Spoofee... hmm, there's a little something about that here (scroll down to post #9), but we'd have to ask Spoofee for more details

3) I really hope there's much more to the Spoofee story.
4) Actually the daddy part is right, but I'm only 6'1" and around 190 lbs. Its actually as boring as the Spoofee story (per that thread). I usually had a name that paid homage to my pomeranian, Cosmo (link to a little about Cosmo, as well as some other pets), but I decided to change it up with Spoofee for some reason and "big daddy" was all I could think of under the pressure. :o

65535 is the maximum a 16 bit number can go up to?
I see that number in the older nintendo games where there's a limit in the number of gold or damage you can do. :confused:

The _ after my user name goes way back. Way back when I was first getting on the net I went to use Kage as my nick name. That nick was taken so I decided to use the _. Well I kept it and pretty much that is me now. Well my alter ego. :) As far as the nick Kage, that goes all the way back to my BBS days. :)

Chrysalis BBS... was in the Dallas, Fort Worth area. It's gone, but I found that the orginal owner opened up a forum website a while back at the same domain.

Thanks! I expected a luke warm response at best, although I noticed that Mr. Spoofee, posted and bolted without enlightening us. :cry:

BTW, have you been working on the railroad all the live long day? :eek: :o ;) :spoofee: :confused:

hahaha... i liked it bigdaddy (that sounds aweful) i mean.. i liked the joke... although i dont know what choochoojr would say. The Spoofee name has a lot to do with my name.. so.. I'll have to let him answer for both of us.

"We" just thought of something unique. Something like Yahoo or Google instead of going for XXX DEALS, DEALS XXX, BARGAINS, etc. Something to stick out I guess and at the time, "Spoofee" sounded funny adn stuck in our minds, so that was it.

Later we found out that "Spoofee" meant someone that gets tricked. Big mistake. :o
 
Cedar was the name of my Irish Setter. She past away after 15 years last December.
