Did a thread get deleted?

I recall posting in a thread today and now I don't see it....:hmmmm:

Anyone else 'missing' a thread? :ohwell:

what thread was it?

what thread was it?

:alberteinstein:

She's been drinking the holiday egg nog a bit early this year. :dizzy:

Every year (about this time) she "loses" a thread.

It was one referencing a landlord, do you recall it?

I also lost one of my kids this afternoon.....:noidea:.....but he found me .......damn, I need more practice......:ohwell:

:thinking:Well, I guess I must assume it's been taken care of......

The thread starter posted saying that all was well and asked that no one make further comments. I suggested that she might ask a mod to lock the thread. Apparently instead of locking, it was deleted.

Dan, your logic is infallible. You are correct.

Ahhhhh!.....like it never happened......:yesnod:...censoring...:yesnod:..I don't recall any attacks and horrible behavior*...........did anyone violate the TOS?....:hmmmm:

*well except for a little stocking stuffer that was overdue....

how come all the good stuff happens when i am not paying attention??????????

naw the elves ate all the free drugs...now they just sit around laughing at me cause I don't have a fish shirt....I am very sad...and way too lazy to go lookin for a smiley to show you how sad I am...

If I got my Christmas wish, they'd delete all her threads. They all start with four paragraphs of TMI on her latest allegded (?sp) crisis and then after everyone gets whipped into a lather trying to help her with her latest injustice it's always the same outcome:...."Oh, never mind, it's all set now"...baloney:rant:

So you start a thread seeking advice (read:attention) and then advice is given and/or a question raised, it's "Oh, no lock the thread, delete the thread..." Doesn't make much sense to me.:nopity:

I don't think deleting the thread at the request of the owner conforms to 'censorship' :nonod: otherwise I'd be right there with you preco.

I could understand if members were acting inappropriately....but that wasn't the case...... She didn't just request her posts deleted, but other members' as well (because they were in the thread)...... I would understand if it were just locked, but she put it out there, asked for advice and received it......want no more advice? then lock it....not delete an entire thread.....as I said, no 'rules' were broken....she just didn't care for the 'advice'..... Sometimes one must just put on big girl panties and accept it, especially when one opens a thread asking for 'advice'.....JMO

*runs off to put on some panties in anticipation of just having to accept it as well*

I was going to keep my mouth shut, but I agree w/Preco. I thought about putting it in the "things that tinkle you off thread"...people who ask for advice and then get bent by it. I'm sorry to Mrs you know who you are, but the fact is some of us were genuinely concerned for you. And the advice was all solid-fact is...I'm still concerned.

I know the feeling.

Somebody woke up a little cranky today.

I guess if it really makes a difference, it is now undeleted and locked.

It is not like off-topic posts count towards the post count totals.

wardrobe change

Not really a 'big deal'.....just an annoying situation......why ask if you don't want answers?...:noidea:...and then just blow everybody off

Thanks Choo...

*runs to take off big girl panties, thanks to Choo.....*
