Can someone help us so I don't end up becoming a victim of identity theft. We got an email from Toyota today that stated we won a sweepstakes and a car. Now I have no idea if its legit the address takes you to the Japanese site for Toyota but thats it. What should be do? Its asking we send our name, address, country, occupation, and phone number. Please help.

Take it from someone who has won a number of Nigerian lotteries, this is probably a scam.

If you did enter a Toyota contest, Toyota would not need your info (they would have it already).

If you responded to this email, the next one you would get is a request for you to send money to cover some sort of expense. You send the money and Toyota disappears.
