Trendnet TEG-S8 Gigabit Switch for $14.99 Shipped After Rebate

I have horrible experience with TrendNET.
My TrendNET gigabit switch, TEG-S80TXE, failed after about 4 months of use. Sent it back for RMA, after two weeks I received replacement.
The replacement was refurbished older model which is larger and lacks mounting hole (which was one of the reason for buying TEG-S80TXE). There were lots of scretches on the case and it was missing rubber feet.
Most of all, it did not even power up! (Bad power supply. )

For that price, I guess you can just use it few months and put it in the trash. But don't be surprised if it stops working.
 
Guess you can't expect much for the price but I use a Trendnet router that was free after rebate. I did get the rebate so I have no compliants with Trendnet. Keep copies of everything and call them if there are any problems. Take your chances and hope for the best.
