I have looked all over the net for a downloadable manual for a IBM Wheelwriter 1000 by Lexmark. Machine type 6781-024 S/N 11BCDV4

An older gentleman at my church is having problems with his and needs a manual. I tried to get him to navigate on over to a PC but he doesn't see why he needs a computer when he has a good typewriter. :teeth:

If anyone has a spare minute to help me look for it, I would greatly appreciate it. It may be there is no such thing as a downloadable version. Thanks
 
If he's having problems and can't find a manual, does he still have a good typewriter?

Logic goes out the window when emotional attachment walks in the door...;)

I did try it but my head hurt and I kept losing my balance.....:doh:...not very comfortable at all.....
 
Can you 'fill out a form' or a 'carbon copy form' with a computer:questionmark:
 
that's why they make:
1) pens
2) copiers
 
I do not know if this will help, but I heard this site is very helpful with tracking things down for you. It is kind of a combination computer search/human being search!! Good luck!

Costs more than a computer. Lol.

Thanks everyone, I think I am going to tell him about the site that sells them for $13.00. The typewriter was given to him. So, If he has to spend $13 for the manual, it will still be a great deal :)
