universal remote control for toys

Is there anything called universal remote control for toys.

I know there are universal controls for home appliances, is there a similar thing for toys (ie small rc cars)

hmmmm...i'm no 6 inch helicopter pilot, but i think that the rc cars operate on only a few frequencies.

I would try Radio Shack or a hobby shop (if there are any still around - hobby shops).
