This is a great player, I've been happy with mine attached to my new Philips 30" HDTV with eBay component cables. What's Amazon's pricematch policy, how long a time period? I bought mine a couple weeks ago for $44.99, $24.99 after the rebate, a few bucks back is never a bad thing.

I think it's 30 days, no?

pretty good deal but for people that dont want to deal with rebates walmart and target has the cyberhome dvd player for under 30 bucks i dont remember the exact price but pretty close to 30. works great, its small and looks nice too. i like how it has a memory that remembers where you stopped viewing from last time, it can zoom and plays dvds from any region code.
 
One thing about the CyberHome DVD player is that it doesn't have a screen on the front, and some people may not like its compact design. The Malata is a super slim unit that's good looking and it has that outside LCD screen which is a must.

hey your right mine dosent have a screen, i never really cared so i didnt notice. the other is nice though, i just hate doing rebates.
 
idea....

Anywhere to buy this for say 40 or 50? and then have it price matched from amazon? Then no need to wait for rebates.

get the dvp 642 progressive scan/ divx player so worth the extra 20 bucks
 
the dvp 642 is $70 compared to $23A/R. That's roughly around $50 difference...
