Walmart/Big Research panel

Thanks Tobiko!! They were askin alot of questions that seemed to imply that there might be something instore later on. When they asked about comments i put that they needed to bring back layaway. :P
 
Thank you very much! I said they ought to have all supercenters laid out alike...I always get turned around when I go to the two supercenters near me b/c the one has the food court on the opposite side of the store that i'm used to! but you're right i forgot about layaway! ;-)

OMG you are soooo right. when shopping for school clothes and @ christmas i have to go to K-mart now....barf!!!!

I know wally world getting rid of layaway gave Kmart some business.

Please bring back layaway. I have to shop at K-Mart for school clothes, School Supplies, and Christmas. I hate K-Mart. Thier store is always a mess, nothing's in place and returns are impossible without a receipt. I miss Wal-Mart. I know people abuse the system by putting stuff on layaway then not paying then the merchandise is alot of the time on clearance by the time the layaway expires and Wal-Mart faces a loss, but I would be willing to even pay a small fee for layaway just to never have to set foot in K-Mart again. Even just opening layaway at Christmas time and at the beginning of the school year would keep me out of K-
Mart.I miss you Wal-Mart. Please Please Wal-Mart bring me back. Would would Sam Walton do???

I had worked for walmart for 20 yrs. Since they closed layaway, I lost my job. At first, I was really bitter, but have since found a better job. I think Walmart pretty much shot themselves in the foot since closing layaway, but they will never admit it.
 
Thank you for the post, signed up and yes told them that closing layaway was a real mistake, that now I no longer am able to do my xmas shopping with them. lol can always hope they get enough complaints that they will finally listen.
 
I used layaway when my first child was a baby.... I haven't really missed it. But what I loved was like 2 years ago, I was late getting to Wal-Mart for the Black Friday Sales. I might have over slept or something. Anyway.... a lot of people didn't realize that they couldn't use layaway. So all of the items that I thought I had missed, by being late, I found lying all over the store, coz people didn't have the money to pay for them. Good for me, but I kinda felt bad for others. I think they all left and went to K-Mart. LOL
