Some time agoo, the spoofee site recommended some free web accelerators. I've seen several on the web but am hesitant as I am afraid of spyware. I would like the recommendation of a reliable and trusted web accelerator. Thanks :help:

I do not believe many of these do much, but then again, I haven't even seen one for years. The best web accelerator is a cable modem or DSL service. Second best is a service like NetZero HighSpeed, which uses a web proxy to accelerate service for $15 a month.
If you have standard dial-up service, there's nothing much you can do.
