What is the "Best" webcam for personal use for an HP Desktop system (AMD 2400, 512 DDR SDRAM, 120 GB HD ) DSL, WindowsXP Home, AOL- IM.
I have read many reviews, on various models, found a couple of good prices at Gateway.com
BUT WHICH ONE, I do not want the inexpensive ones, I want a quality webcam, great picture, without software problems.
Here is what I have found @ Gateway.com
Logitech, (2 for 1) QuickCam® Express Cameras (model 961183-0403) $49.99 + Shipping
Logitech, (2 for 1) QuickCam® Pro 4000 Cameras (model 961239-0403) $99.99 + Shipping
The 2 for 1 price is VERY NICE !
I'm leaning towards the Logitech Pro 4000 with many bells and whistles (best internet price around $65.00 - $77.00 for 1 webcam) but the customer reviews haven't always been positive, buggy software and terrible customer service, from Logitech. I like to stay around the $50 - $100 price point, if possible. Not sure if Logitech products will get the job done. I'm open to other Brands of quality webcams.
Is there a SPOOFIE webcam Specialist that can guide me to a quality cam ?
Thanking you in Advance,
Wakejumper
