This is a pretty nice drive, I bought it last year from Costco. It's slim - easy to carry in laptop bag, noisless - no fan needed. Has rubberized side and bottom and aluminum top. Of course you won't get screaming performance, but it's good enough for typical business use.

my sentiments exactly, limey1234. i also bought the same drive (though for a lot more $$$ -- ugh!), and i'm really happy with it. it's storing a back up copy of all my personal data, and i think it's generally pretty reliable. no head crashes yet.
