Ok so a company I purchased from at Christmas got their charges wrong and because of their system error, never charged me for some things I bought. ALTHOUGH they now want to come back 4 months later and slap it on my card, PLUS interest? WHAT THE HECK? Is this legal, what recourse do I have?

I can see them charging your CC, but not charging your interest for there screwup. If they do charge you interest you can dispute the interest charge with your CC. You'll have to send them a receipt and some other stuff, but they should refund you the charge and back charge the vendor.

Not sure of the legalities.....I can see them posting a charge now (perhaps they were backed up or misplaced paperwork, etc.....you do 'owe' it), but not with interest.....they never presented it to you to pay on time (unless you are carrying balances)

nope, carrying no balances, this is the first time I have donned the ANGRY mood since joining spoofee!
I could use some dehawk humor, LOL!

Dehawk what??????????????????????????

Why did they wait four months? What did they say when you originally called them to tell them of their error? I would have thought they would have fixed it back then. Or at least have record of the call so you could prove you tried to fix it and shouldn't have to pay interest.

I know I know, it's a sick twisted thing that only a very few human beings and sometimes farm animals enjoy, LOL, it's some sick twisted humor and you can only recognize it if you're one of "US"  :alien: :secret: :camera: :boink: :slug: :theyareon

I emailed them, maybe that's where I messed up, they charged me $3 interest, which in the end won't make or break me, but that wasn't my mistake, it was theirs:noidea:

They have up to like a year to charge you if they don't do it initially. So, no free stuff.

$3 probably isn't worth it. You could dispute it with your credit card, but you have to send them tons of paperwork.

Bust their stones right back....

dispute the charge with your credit card company. Your CCC will charge it off your account, back to the vendor and make them produce the paperwork to validate the charge.

You can still dispute the "interest" once the vendor has validated the charge (and the cycle starts again.).
