Ladies - I need your input.
My husband bought me an awesome purse for my birthday and as I went to put stuff in it to go out for dinner, the only personal items I had in it was my wallet, my lipstick and my cellphone. I have done the diaper bag for over two years now (I am still carrying a Pull Up or two, wipes and hand sanitzer) and I cant remember what I put in my purse before Kadin. So you tell me....

What is in your purse?

:questionmark:

Besides the basics I keep a disposable camera, chapstick, sunglasses, lotion, tissues, band-aids, hand sanitizer, and of course...gum! Yikes but first and foremost I am a mom!

disposable camera - I like that.
I need to go buy a nice small-refillable lotion bottle again, have the band-aids, sanitizer - I will have to pick up some mints or gum.
Thanks Butty!

No problem *fyi...that's what I like to keep in there but there is usually WAY more junk that ends up in there.*

i know im young but i keep different makeup items. my cell(i cant live without it) money, lotion(also can be used to smooth away frizzies and femminine hygiene(no menopause yet i hope) also since oversized bags are in i keep a lolt more stuff in my bag. candymini purfume bottles tweezers, scrunchies, my friends call me mary poppins

Don't forget the books/magazines for traffic jams and long checkout lines.

(If you're going to the Registry, try a book of jokes to share with those in back of you.)

I like carrying a small/smaller bag so I don't have much...just the basics. A small Wallet (which contains everything card-like and cash if I'm lucky), lip balm (mine is Weleda), lip gloss, tiny pack of Ice Breakers Liquid Ice, teeny container of Tylenol (maybe 4-6 pills), a few Lactaid Ultra pills, pen, sharpie, sometimes a little notebook, checkbook, cell phone (when it's not in my pocket), keys, Rescue Remedy spray, albuterol inhaler. That's it. It sounds like a ton but everything is pretty small so it fits neatly. I discovered a trick for using a really tiny bag, like an evening purse that is minuscule. Take your ID, cash and credit card and put a tiny clear hair band around them to keep them in a little stack. It's much smaller than a wallet.

Yall sound greatly prepared for anything! I like the idea of books Heidi! And Shani you are right - lotion is perfect for frizzes! I have done this a half million times! And Faerie I love the idea of no wallet! I have a HUGE wallet right now! But it doubles as my makeup bag because it has so many pockets and flaps! But it is falling to pieces now....I cant imagine why - there is like 2 tons of change in it.

in my ma's bags she has everything, combs, pills, stuff like that

I have a little coupon organizer that I always carry in my purse. Grocery store coupons, restaurant coupons, department store coupons. I'd hate to leave home and not have them when I need them!

So do I! I get alot of great coupons from all the great samples here on SPOOFEE

keys, cell phone, sunglasses, pocket calendar, small address book, vanilla mint chapstick, travel size cumcumber melon lotion, wet ones, small notebook , checkbook, pens, bandaids, picture wallet, pill box with tylenol, sinus meds and imodium, ponytail holders, change purse w/ credit card holder for all cards, cash and change, coupon organizer and... geez i really carry too much crap in my purse LOL

Well at least you are clean and you smell good!

:eyebrows: Let me see...hummm...small digital camara..wild weekend pics. Credit card used to the max..same weekend..lol. lemon head candies. A set of keys, hope they are mine. I will bet about 20 lbs of change. Pens I don't remember buying. More meds then a drugstore, hate allergy season. Recipts except for what I need to return, will look to see what I used the credit card for .lol. Three phone numbers with no name.

I have the usual membership cards, insurance cards, small memo pad to leave notes, blistex when I remember, license, money when I have some, and the dreaded "that time of the month" products.
I don't travel much so I don't take alot with me.

:hmm: I seem to be the only one who also carries a barrier device and latex gloves in case I need to do CPR.......

hmmm, let's see, could be interesting...

french fries from last week (kiddos are always throwing things in my purse...), tons of paper and pens, cell phone, keys, loose void checks (from walmart, they fill it out for you and give you the check back...more junk for me!), body spray, lipgloss, one dress-up shoe, TIDE-to-go pen, fingernail polish, compact, perfume, Spongebob bandaids, ponytail holders and clips, tire-mileage thing, more unidentifiable objects....:worry:

and this is my "small" purse...
