What's on your check?

I re-ordered checks and they made a goof. So, I call and have it corrected (they misspelled my first name).

I only have our names printed on our checks, no addy, no phone....just our names. The cs rep told me that "that's a New York thing".....and that in the South, they put everything on their checks, addy, phone, cell phone, work phone, place of employment, etc.....all they are missing is their SS# and their mother's maiden name! LOL

I agreed it was a New York thing because we are rude and it's nobody's business where I live or what my number is! LOL

So what's on your checks and why? and where are you located? ;)

By the way, I used to work as a customer service rep for Harland Check Printing years ago and if you would have called and told me that their was a problem with your checks, I would have sent you a replacement order with 2 day delivery at our expense! :bigok: I may have even upgraded the type of check you wanted, if you were nice! ;)
 
We get the standard name, addy and Harley design on ours - btw, Preco, good thing you don't like shopping at my store or you'd have to cough up all the other credentials :teeth:
 
I never use checks at stores, only credit cards or cash, if I have to. I leave the check book at home.
 
Dont use checks too much here eithier but the ones we do have have our name and address but if you go to use them at say wal-mart then they will want you to add your DL# and all your phone numbers which is one reason i dont use checks.
 
I have checks but hardly ever use them (once or twice a year). They have my name and my wife's name and our address on them and naturally the NY Yankees logo! If someone wants my name and address it's not a great secret with all the mail I get. I also have a Yankees Visa and Mastercard which I have been told don't work in Boston (idiots - money is money). :ohwell:

name and address. if i spend over $300 at costco, they get my DL too. honestly, costco is about the only place i write checks anymore. or if i'm at the mall and remember my past due macy's bill :eek:
 
We have just our names and business address. If anyone wants a phone, I'll give them my grandcentral.com number.
 
I haven't ordered checks in over 5 years. I was down to less then 12 a year and it's gone up a bit because I've had to start writing them to my son's school. My checks have an old adress and phone number on them...and I think I still have a couple books left.
 
We have the usual info: name addy, & phone # on our checks.
 
I'm in the south.... lol!

I use a debit card mostly, but I can't get anyone to take a check w/o all that info around here.

this is a good one i lost my debit card and i had to go get diapers and I was like OMG how am i gonna pay with no card?? OH yuck i have to go to the bank. The next morning i was like DUH i can write a check LOL well I obviously never use them. I ordered my 1 box of checks two yrs ago and I have only gone thru one lil book.
Back to the topic.
I have name, addy, phone # and cell #. DL i could use but i dont want it on there

I ordered from Direct Checks, they are expediting the printing and shipping at their cost.

You should put this on all your checks..

Pay to the Order of Digriz $ (any amount)

And send to: P.O. Box 666 Cell #17 (EJSP) Rahway, NJ

Or (for all you who have your SSN number on your checks, just send me one (mark it with VOID) - and I thank you for my new plasma screen TV. ;)
