Why?

I tried to start a comical thread under "trade". It was rejected and I was sent a message that lowered my reputation points. Could someone please explain to me why? It's bad enough that the thread was rejected, but after that , why am I being penalized?

Hello,

I'm guessing your referring to your thread about swapping rep points. Rep points are designed to give cudos to a user that posts something good. They are not designed to be traded so the thread was deleted. As for a message that lowered your rep points I'm not sure what you mean by that.
