this is a very good deal actually, I purchased this earlier during the year for 52.99 + tax.

and yes
the game is addictive during the first few months of play.

Well the Soul part is part of the subscription fee I guess. So buying the actual game is cheap, but playing it costs you the soul. (Plus the subscription fee!)
 
DONT ANYONE DARE BUY IT. I am on rehab from that game, way tooooo addictive. I loved the game-- met new people, made friends, so much fun, but GODDAMN i needed a life back then. like he said, youre seelin youre soul by playin this game
 
If you know someone who already plays WoW they just received a 10 day trial code for a friend in their email, which gives them a free month if you wind up subscribing. So have them install the game for you then when the trial is over if you like the game you pay the monthly fee and you've saved $32 :D Blizzard's email recommends doing this BTW so they've got no issues with you not buying the retail box, they just want your monthly fee.
 
I bought this game for my bro on his birthday.

He ended up losing his waiter job at a local restaurant cuz he'd getting playing and lose track of time. Haha - Happy Birthday!
