Wierd , it works for me  , maybe your just retarded and dementia is kicking in :zip:

Perhaps you clicked in the wrong area? Or your browser was messed up. Did you change your font size by any chance? Both IE and FireFox I just tried were fine, and I didn't have Google Desktop...

Its working now, see I post a problem with Google here and it gets taken care of.

Google desktop

I downloaded the Google desktop thingy, and I think it slowed me down considerably (at least coincedentally, that's when it became dead slow). Now I am a little afraid to uninstall it, in case it's hooked into other programs. Anybody know if it's safe to just delete it? I've never used it, not even sure what it's for...

I would just go and undelete it just like you would any other program. I am pretty sure uninstalling someting from Google will not mess your PC up. :bigok:

mm, yah I'm pretty sure its safe to delete because all it does is track the sites youve been to plus the conversations you had. So if you want to refer to a chat you were havin with your friend over AIM, you type in their screen name on google, and the conv. pops up. Also, it lists websites u've visited, if u type in a certain key word from the site. Lastly, i think it helps you find files on your computer (even though tahts what windows+f is for)

I also had trouble after installing google desktop. However, I did a repair on Internet Explorer, and have since had no problems.
