Sirius is having a deal where they will activate any existing XM radio for free.

Good until 11/27/17

Step 1
You should be able to just use your inactive XM radio until September 5th, 2017
Go to Sirius to see details

Step 2
Enter your car VIN or Radio ID

- All you have to do is turn your radio on and enjoy!

You have to go to the website,stumble around trying to figure out what to do since there is no guidance - only way I found to resolve it - Create a chat session to get this done. Its not well designed or implemented, that's for sure.
 
My radio is XM one, but when I clicked the link I found that I got 2 months free...Just do not sign in and it will go way on 2 month
 
I just switched to XM in my car and it is playing - didn't have to do anything on my end.
 
Same here. I just turned it on and it told me I don't have a subscription but stations work
 
Shows the offer on their website, but then will only let you select a $99/12month deal.
