Equifax was hacked and you may be eligible to earn $125 or 10 years of credit monitoring.

Step 1
You can see if you qualify for this Data breach settlement here
Go to Equifax

Step 2
Enter your information

Step 3
If you qualify, File a Claim

You can also make claims for cash payments if you had losses as a result of the breach

It says I AM impacted by breach but my parent is NOT... so I believe it is legit.

I expect there will be scammers using this as opportunity so make sure you go to actual Equifax site or settlement site. This is settlement site in which courts required them to do.

Choose monitoring, they only have about $31M to
    pay 190M claims.

NO ONE is getting anywhere near $125! You'd be lucky to get $5 after all the claims submitted but the lawyers sure get all the money instead of the people who rightfully ought to be. $30 million for over 100 million people, yeah that's fair

Absolutely false. Read up on the lawsuit. Might want to delete this 'deal'.

I chose the money but realized this too. Supposedly if you chose the cash Equifax will email you at some point giving you the choice to pick the credit monitoring again, since a few years from now you will get a check for 40 cents.

Put in a fake name and all 0's for my last 6 social and it said I qualify. sounds shady.

News reports I've read say people won't get anywhere near $125 due to a cap on their max payout and the large amount of people requesting cash.
