Starbucks is offering a free birthday reward for being a part of their Starbucks Rewards member. You'll receive a free birthday reward that can be redeemed for a handcrafted beverage, food item, or ready-to-drink bottled beverage.

How to Get the Free Drink or Food

To receive the Starbucks birthday reward

Join Starbucks Rewards at least 7 days before your birthday.
Add your birthday to your Starbucks account.
Make at least one Star-earning purchase before your birthday.
Redeem your reward on your birthday through the Starbucks app or in-store.

Only on my birthday or a few days before?

Birthday reward window depends on whether you are a Green member (everyone by default) or a Gold member

Green Member - Your free Birthday Reward is redeemable on your birthday only.
Gold Member - Your free Birthday Reward comes with a 7-day window to redeem, starting on your birthday.

What Do You Get?

Eligible members can choose one free

Handcrafted beverage (any size so get the Trenta!)
Food item
Ready-to-drink bottled beverage

Many customers use the reward on a large customized drink to maximize value.

How to Redeem

Once it's near your birthday, open the Starbucks app.
