Sony is raising the price on the Sony PS5 tomorrow (April 2nd, 2026). You can buy today and it'll still be the old price.

Sony is raising prices on all PlayStation 5 consoles and the PlayStation Portal in the US and globally, effective April 2, 2026. Base PS5 models will increase by $100, while the PS5 Pro will rise by $150 to $899.99, following rising costs in memory chips and challenging economic conditions.
Reasons
Sony cited high inflation, fluctuating exchange rates, and a shortage of memory chips.
