???????

I don't get this deal..
is the HD a 100 GB HD + 20 GB HD..meaning two separate HDs? and also is this a DiamondMax Plus 9 or a Diamond Max Plus 16... very confusing...i checked out maxtor and it helped a little..but not enough.. i know this is a 2mb transfer but is this a ATA/133?

AtA/133?
Two separate hds?
Diamond 9 or
Diamond 16?

Just 1 drive. 120MB. Bought it last week. I already put it in the enclosure so cannot easily verify which Diamond Max it is.

You can price match this to CompUSA (after you have completed the purchase) this week where it is now $119.99

Well., thanks for the good deal. But I got a question. Its nowhere specified that its a Maxtor Product. While all the other Maxtor products listed in Staples.com have the Product Specification table saying "Manufacturer Maxtor", this one alone distinctly doesn't.

Maybe I am too pessimistic or just rightly cautious. Please clarify.

Thanks.

it's maxtor

vvetti "Its nowhere specified that its a Maxtor Product."
--------
it's maxtor.. the $40 rebate is sent to Maxtor Rebates. thumb

Please tell me how to get all the rebates on this maxtor 120

I'm missing something here. my nuimbers dont add up... Please clarify....ThanX, Tom

Clarification: PM to Comp USA

Hi Rerun:

I meant calling up Staples and telling them that Comp USA is selling the drive for $119.99. Staples will do some checking and then give you the new price.

Staples.com will pm CompUSA.com

In my case, I bought the drive last week. Called this morning, did not know whether they are going to invalidate the coupon or not. Luckily, they didn't and I got my money back. If they don't, hang up and try again to get another CSR.

$150 last week at Staples
-$120 this week at CompUSA
=$30 + 10% difference = $33 +tax
is what I get back.

So the drive ends up costing: $120 -$30 coupon - $40 rebate = $50 + tax

prodsearcher2, I can't find this drive on Comp USA site for $120.00 Do you have a product ID? Thanks,

SMG
