Staples has the Compaq Presario 2101US Notebook for $999. It has one $100 MIR and one $150 Staples Rebate(1/19 to 2/1). Plus use the $100 off $1000.
So the breakdown is Compaq Presario 2101US - $999
Winter/Spring 2003 - ($100)
Staples $150 Rebate for Notebook excluding BTO - ($150)
Add Aurora HC101B Calculator for $4.99 with $4 Rebate SKU 491733 to get the total to $1004 then use the $100 off $1000 coupon, 75107 or 79529 (exp unknown).
Total = $1004 - $100 - $150 - $100 -$4 = $650 + tax and free shipping (for now).
Read this thread on FW about how to send in the rebates. The two Compaq rebates say they can be combined with other offers.
If you want external USB Floppy drive, you can get it from hpshopping.com for $49.99 and get $50 Rebate from HP.
