So I went to Office Depot First today. I wanted to get the plastic folders (1 cent), crayons (25 cents) and filler paper (15 cents). So a bunch of guys were moving the filler paper on a skid. As they went by, I grabbed two because I was going to buy them. One of the guys takes them from me and says that he can't sell them to me; they are ringing up 0 cents and no matter what they do they can't fix the problem. Little miffed, but I didn't really need the paper *that* bad (wasn't on our list) so I let it pass. So I get to the register and she rings up my 10 folders and my box of crayons and my total is 26 cents. The folders were having the same problem as the paper... they rang up Free. Am I bad because I didn't say a thing? I bet you would have done the same...
Then over to Walgreen where I picked up 3 highlighters for 5 cents each and 3 packs of mechanical pencils for 5 cents each.
The only things left on my list are glue sticks and ziploc bags. I think I may get away with less than $5 for school supplies this year. YAY!

... no riots... at least not yet! I think the Back To School sales are all still flying under the radar. Both times I didn't have any problems (except that Staples was down to their last 4 packs of the 10 pack of pencils... but I got two so I was okay with it! 
I look forward to when I can sleep until noon again... wait... I've actually never done that... It will be a nice goal to aspire to!
