What an awesome find! I am a paraeducator, and will pass this onto everyone at my school. I'll use mine for supplies for my class. Thank you so much!

"Can receive." Not "will receive." Am I the only one who is uncomfortable with the way this is worded?

Good point, ellie. Those "can" phrases are dangerous.

Did anyone look at the online course overview? I am not sure that the time and effort is worth the possibility of maybe getting a gift card.

uh oh, I didnt know that it said we "may" get a gift card. I wonder what quilifys you to actually recieve it.

Thanks Joyce. I forwarded to some friends of mine who are teachers.

It took them a while, but I got my approval notice today. Now maybe I'll be able to intelligently compare the Casios with the TIs.

They probably use that wording in case they find out someone does not qualify later (isn't actually an educator, etc) and someone can't come back and say "But it said fill this out and I WILL get the card" because that would be legally binding. Same with contests and such- if they find out you cheated, were related to someone in the company, worked for the company, etc you forfeit your prize so they word that way.

ok, i was approved. i'm going to do that course. it says that as long as you complete the 10 level course, and 2 assesments, you will get the card. it seems like it can take awhile but i'll try it out. anyone do it yet? if so, how are the assesments? should i look out for anything while i do the course? thanks.

nobody responded to neverless, so i assume nobody had tried the training yet.

i finally installed the emulator and am starting the training. i'll let people know how involved things are.

Did anyone receive their gift card? I just saw on another board that some people were getting this after finishing the training course. :hmm:

This is also still valid.
