I figured I would move your post and start a new thread.

Me and Babs are planning on putting up our tree this weekend, will post a pic when we get it up. :)
 
Yeppers.....have two trees up! One for the dining room a fiber optic tree that makes weird swirls on the pictures. And, another tree in the living room where Jeb goes in and yanks off the balls and ornaments. Will post pixs later :)
 
No tree up yet, though I had good intentions to do it yesterday LOL Instead I have been working on a paper that is due Monday. Hopefully I will have my tree up by next weekend. Hope everyone has fun putting up and trimming their tree this holiday season!!

I've been working for the past two days trying to get decorated. So far Johanna has broken Rudolph, Charlie in the box and the Misfit King.... the next few weeks should be interesting. (Then Rudolphs girlfriend Clarese fell off the tree and three of her legs broke off) Johanna thinks the tree lights are balls. We also had another stray kitty show up about a month ago. She is really enjoying swatting at the ornaments!

And I can honestly say that Snibble's tree looks beautiful. Not only is the inside of her house decorated (even the bathroom, thanks to me), but her husband is doing the outside. :claps:

And remember that the "stray kitty" now belongs to Snibble and her family. It has not left her yard since her husband removed her from our yard a month ago. So now spot is officially a new member of the family. She will never leave the warm inside of Snibble's house to come to our house to get terrorized by our dog.

As for our tree, we should hopefully decorate one day next weekend. It is my husband's turn to decide when our tree goes up!
 
Here is mine and Babs tree for this year. Babs spent 2.5 hours decorating it last night while I was at work. :claps: :kiss:

LOL Yes purple.

We originally were going to put up the white tree and have purple lights with all the purple and silver trimmings but finding purple lights with a white cord proved to be more of a chore than we expected. :doh:
 
great picture, great colors-definitely shows how hard babs worked.

It looks like the skirt was knitted, did babs make it?
