It looks a little boring, but I'll probably still watch it. :rolleyes:
 
I havent seen this show since halfway through the first season. But I do like shows that are done in this fashion. Sort of documentary-ish. The Shield, Battlestar Galactica, etc..

So does each season sort of stand on its own, or will I be totally lost if I try to watch now?

IMHO it is one of the best shows on TV because it literally keeps you on the edge of your seat, it is normally unpredictable and you never know who is going to die next. :) The seasons do stand on their own for the most part, but you might miss some of the twists and past references because of it. Although if you watch the first show of season 7, they will more than likely give a brief recap of what happened last year and in past years, to refresh people's memory.

BTW I started watching it near the end of season 3 and I found no problem enjoying season 4. FYI I've had season 3 on DVD for probably 2+ years, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. :o :yawn:
