Great deal on the batteries but I just ordered them and the availability is Feb 23, 2005. Only order them if you can wait.

Most likely Amazon will ship them sooner, they're normally good about things like that. I normally get my batteries at Costco (they're Kirkland branded), and they work great, a 48 pack is $9.49 regular price.

I've been using them for years and have never had any problems. I think they're as good or better than Duracell.

I ordered just one pack. Paid $6.76 shipping/handling *ouch* (total = $12.75, or about $0.27 per battery) ... again, if you're willing to wait 'til February and as long as these aren't those sketchy batteries people sell on the subway, then this is a GREAT deal!
