Are these cd+G recordings (show lyrics on karoke machine) or are they vocal-less tracks?

My best find so far... "I've Got Friends in Low Places". Wow. That's a trip to the past!

Looks like they are only the vocal less tracks.. not the type you can see the lyrics

Amazon asks for payment info on free MP3s

Hi, everyone! First post here. I selected a free MP3, signed in my Amazon account, but then was presented with a "Select a payment method" page to enter my CC info...

What's up with that? If it's free why would they ask for payment info? I tried several other free MP3s, same problem!
 
Do you have to install another app in your Windows??? :P

I guess, you have to fill the info however they won't charge you since the price is $0.00 for each. But you have to make sure your MP3 is listed as $0.00. Once you download it, you will get Amazon order information email and see the cost for downloading is $0.00. I am downloading 55 albums since last night and they don't charge me. I received 55 amazon order confirmation emails and mention $0.00 charge. Hope this help..

Yes, you have to have Amazon down-loader application which you can get it from amazon website, just follow the instruction. That's easy and do not take much time to get it. And also not many space you need to install that application. I personally recommended to use FireFox instead of Internet Ex.
 
does the installer put any garbage on your computer when installed?

If downloading one track at a time you are not required to install the Amazon download utility. There is a link or checkbox when you select a song that allows you to skip using their utility and download as a straight MP3 file. To do albums you need the utility, which appears to be a small java program or similar that runs in the system tray. It was only a few hundred KB and as far as I can tell didn't install extra junk.
 
I was able to play the tracks on my itunes player so after you've downloaded what you want, you can probably trash the amazon player.
 
No Lyrics, No fun..

its useless... can't beat the CD+G that has the lyrics on 'em..
